How we can help?

The Academic Practice team within CLIPP provides support to Aston staff in their professional development in four main ways:

  • Taught programmes (ILTP, PGCert, PGDip and M.Ed) leading to Fellowship of the Higher Educational Academy
  • Active support for experienced staff who teach or support students' in gaining Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy through the RITE Programme
  • Comprehensive provision of CPD sessions for both individuals and teams of staff within schools to enhance the quality of learning and teaching practice
  • A supportive community that leads and encourages research into learning and teaching practice

The Academic Practice team shares a common philosophy of embedding support within Aston’s teaching disciplines and responding to the specific needs of staff engaged in teaching.
