Whilst some of the Summer School programmes listed are non-subject specific, some are focussed in the business and management field. Provided the partner university is happy to accept your application, you are welcome to try out a new subject area unrelated to your Aston University degree subject.  Please also read our notes below.

Brazil 
International Summer School

The Brazilian Seminars developed by PUC-Rio is an international summer school which provides students, young scholars and international administrators with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about Brazil. 

It’s an interdisciplinary program meant to give a broad perspective of Brazilian issues which are currently in the global scenario.

A 48h program of lectures and off-class activities that offers a panorama on Brazil’s different aspects, ranging from politics to environmental issues, from culture to public health.

Jinan University Summer Session is hosted by Jinan University. All the courses open in Jinan University Summer Session is credentialed by Registrar’s Office of Jinan University. Program transcript will be issued by Registrar’s Office of Jinan University. 

Jinan University Summer Session offers over 50 courses each summer, in a wide variety of disciplines. Courses are offered in two sessions and two campus,Guangzhou Campus and Shenzhen Campus—the first session usually begins towards the end of July, and all sessions have ended by mid-August. Students from all around the world attend Jinan University in the summer and big portion of students are visitors (non-Jinan University students).

Japanese Language and Culture Programme

Kanagawa University offers a short-term intensive language program that is open to individuals from countries around the world, twice yearly in summer and winter.

Focusing on Japanese language study, the program’s objective is to improve Japanese proficiency and deepen understanding of both traditional Japanese culture and various aspects of contemporary Japan by taking classes related to Japan, going on fieldtrips and having the opportunity to directly experience the tea ceremony, calligraphy, and so forth. Opportunities to interact with Kanagawa University students have also been incorporated into the program.

Korea University International Summer Campus (KU ISC) provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn about Korea through academic and cultural immersion during the summer months. It offers one semester's load of work condensed into six weeks and four weeks, during which renowned academics teach both domestic and international students. This program is open to current college students who wish to study in Korea but may not be able to do so during the regular academic year. 

KU ISC offers an opportunity for prominent international scholars and students to engage in lively discussions in English. Singapore Management University (SMU) is proud to present the Global Summer Programme 2017 – a 4-week intensive programme focusing on Business, Innovation and Society in Asia, offering a suite of elective and enrichment courses designed to augment students' knowledge and practical skills about Asia in general, through the use of real-life case studies and examples.

Students will be able to to combine high quality academic and cultural experiences at SMU, including invaluable opportunities to network with respected CEOS & industry experts from various fields during weekly Wine & Cheese nights. In 2016, we invited Managing Directors and General Managers from Audi, Julius Baer, Bank of Liechenstein, and Red Bull.

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is internationally accredited and a leading European business school. ISUP is one of the world’s longest running and largest summer programs, and in 2016 approx. 2000 participants joined ISUP. The program is open to all and welcomes domestic and international university students as well as young professionals.

In 2017 ISUP will offer approx. 40 courses taught in English at the undergraduate and graduate levels. They will cover a wide range of classic business courses as well as more diverse, innovative and entrepreneurial courses, which draw on other academic disciplines. Each course is 7.5 ECTS, and students can enroll in a maximum of 2 courses (15 ECTS). The program runs for 6 weeks.
