Servitization is the process of transforming manufacturers to compete through Product-Service Systems (PSS) rather than products alone. This means providing a holistic solution to customers, helping to improve their competitiveness, rather than just engaging in single transactions through the sale of a physical product.
Manufacturers can employ advanced services to strengthen relationships with customers, create new and resilient revenue streams and set high barriers for competitors. The challenge is to develop and deliver such innovative services successfully. Aston Business School is hosting a UK servitization summit for industry on 21 & 22 May to deliver insights into manufacturers that lead through their advanced services, summarising their strategies and the challenges and benefits they deliver. This summit is an opportunity to both learn about and shape the adoption of servitization in the UK.
This event is targeted explicitly at executives from organisations, both big and small, that are either customers, providers or suppliers through servitization.
Date and time: Tuesday 21 (13:00) – Wednesday 22 (15:30) May Venue: Aston Business School, Aston University, B4 7ET
