The School of Engineering and Applied Science is hosting a professional development in the workplace networking event on Wednesday 15 May to help companies and individuals in engineering and allied science business sectors find out more about the benefits of work based learning degree programmes.
The event will offer attendees the chance to talk to companies who support their employees on a number of Aston University’s degree programmes and also those employees currently studying on the programmes.
Professional development is an invaluable personal investment, allowing individuals to update their skills and prepare for greater responsibilities. Professional development courses can help boost confidence, strengthen professional credibility and help employees to become more creative in tackling new challenges. Professional development can also lead to a more stimulating career - increasing job satisfaction and accelerating career development.
This networking event will highlight how the range of professional development programmes on offer in EAS can help organisations to benefit from Aston’s academic resources, expertise and research.
