Aston Business School Master Classes are pertinent events that help leaders gain perspective on today's most pressing business issues, to inspire and enable you to address challenges with new confidence.

In the fifth of these “Sixty Minutes for Sixty Seconds” Master Classes Dr Helen Shipton, Director of Aston Centre for Human Resources and Senior Lecturer in the Work & Organisational Psychology Group will expand on what managerial practices, or combinations of practices, optimise an organisation’s propensity to achieve innovation through its employees.  

The presentation will explore:

  • How to release the creative potential of employees at work
  • The role of HRM specialists in combination with line managers in setting the parameters for innovation
  • The creation of an action plan to increase innovation within your organisation.
