Aston's strong links with business
Our strong links with business and industry benefit our students. Our courses are professionally relevant and leading businessmen and women often come to Aston to share their knowledge and experience through guest lectures.
Aston has a long established relationship with the Birmingham Science Park, located right next to campus. The park is home to almost 100 companies, most of which have a technical or scientific focus. Their work ranges from forensics to new media, photonics to medical research.
There are fantastic opportunities for our students to build valuable business networks and contacts whilst at Aston, and many secure placement years or graduate jobs right here in Birmingham. Such great opportunities are not so readily available at universities in smaller cities or on out-of-town campuses.
