Angela joined Aston Law as a full-time member of staff in September 2012 having previously worked as a Sessional Lecturer within the Group. In addition to working at Aston, Angela has lectured at University of Leicester, Coventry University and Birmingham City University.
During her teaching career Angela has had responsibility for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Contract Law, English Legal System, Commercial Law, Company Law, Employment Law, Domestic Sale of Goods and Agency and International Sale of Goods.
After completing her LL.B, Angela studied for the Law Society Finals at Guildford Law School and then completed a LL.M in Commercial Law at the University of Birmingham, obtaining a distinction.
Angela is the Module Leader for the Family Law and Accounting for Law modules. She is also currently responsible for delivery of the Law for Business module which is studied by all first year business students.
She is the Programme Director for the BSc Management and Business in Professional Contexts programme that runs in conjunction with Mondelez.
She is the external examiner on the Foundation Degree in Business and Education Management.
She acts as the Learning and Teaching Mentor to those within the Law Group who are new to teaching.
Angela is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is working towards gaining status as a Senior Fellow.
