Submitting an Abstract
Contributions are welcomed on any any aspects of manufacturing management and technology. We particular welcome those which bridge management and technology themes, and are highly relevant to practice. By contrast, work which is highly abstract and mathematical is less likely to be suited to this conference.
We will consider papers using a two stage process. Abstracts will first be reviewed by the organising committee to check for relevance to the conference. We will then invite suitable abstracts to be developed into full papers. These will then undergo a blind reviewing process. Those papers that are then accepted (or accepted subject to minor amendments) will then be presented at the conference and included in the proceedings.
The deadline for abstract submission is the 7 May 2012.
However, abstracts will be reviewed as they are submitted and notifications will be sent out promptly - so feel free to submit early. Abstracts should be no longer than 600 words, with authors, their affiliations, and the email address of the corresponding author clearly shown. Abstracts should be saved as a PDF document. Finally, please note that only accepted submissions will be included in the conference programme and will have the corresponding full paper published in the Proceedings. Papers have to be completed in full, and at least one author of the paper registers, attends the conference, and presents the paper. No author will be allowed to present more than two papers.
