PhD Research Title Sustainable Business Model for Disintegrated Bio-Energy Industry
Brief Outline of Research to date This research intends to create a sustainable business support framework for the disintegrated bio-energy sector. To date I have identified the issues and challenges of the industry using literature review and case studies.
Why did you choose to study for your PhD at Aston Business School? I choose Aston for my PhD because it seemed to be a perfect institution for research by looking at its people and their research outputs, ranking of the university, quality of research and support availability.
What is good about the Research Degrees Programme? A research degree, especially at Aston Business School offers the platform to work in collaboration with academic experts while at the same time providing research students the freedom to think differently and work with new ideas.
In addition, the facilities provided for research students are excellent. Students also have a great opportunity to be a part of an interactive and skilled research community.
What is the most challenging aspect of the PhD? For me one of the most challenging aspect of the PhD is keeping focused on the core theme of the research.
What would you advise anyone thinking of doing a PhD? A PhD is a great career path and for those people with the interest, imagination, intent to innovate, and determination to work hard it’s a lot of fun!
