For many of our Full-Time MBA students, the highlight of their experience is the week-long residential visit to a partnering business school in Europe. Our most recent MBA cohort had the opportunity to visit Toulouse Business School (TBS) in the South of France.
On top of taking in the cultural sights of Toulouse, the MBAs were able to join their contemporaries in a variety of classes taught by TBS, including Non-Market Strategy, International Human Resources, and Brexit and Business.
The highlight of the trip was a behind the scenes tour of Airbus Industrie, the world’s leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and military airlifters. The corporate visit gave the MBAs insight into international business and also included a networking event giving them a chance to learn more about the aerospace industry and connect with MBAs from TBS.
MBA Careers Consultant, Paul Schoonenberg joined the cohort on the visit and commented on the exclusive experiences available to Aston MBAs. “We had the unique opportunity to view production of the Airbus A380, followed by a hugely informative seminar from Gilles Meric, a Senior Executive at Airbus. The group also enjoyed a company visit to Météo-France, meeting executives and gaining invaluable insights into the workings of the French national meteorological service.”
There are many more opportunities to study abroad as part of the MBA. We work closely with high profile Business Schools all around the world to offer exciting opportunities to spend the summer abroad, go on a study exchange for a term and even the chance to gain an extra masters degree by spending a year studying abroad on our Double Degree programme.
