Carillion Customer Engagement

The 2013 Carillion cohort have completed the Customer Engagement Module as part of our Carillion Leadership Programme. 

Dr John Rudd, Reader in Marketing & Strategic Management and Head of the Marketing Group at Aston Business School delivered the two day module on Customer Engagement at Carillion’s own premises in Wolverhampton.

During the module the participants have become familiar with fundamental concepts of understanding and delivering customer requirements (both internal and external customers), stakeholder and market analysis, and how by improving customer experience you can enhance relationships and develop long-term partnerships.

As a conclusion to the module, and to reinforce the learning, the cohort were asked to consider the key issues and themes raised during the module and to relate these to challenges that they themselves face or the business as a whole is facing.

The Carillion Leadership Programme has now been running for over ten years. Participants learn and apply leadership skills and knowledge drawn from four key areas of organisational and commercial research:
