IABM recently announced the appointment of Abirah Aziz, recent Aston University graduate, to the newly-created position of Assistant Research Analyst, further strengthening the association’s Business Intelligence unit under the leadership of Research Analyst, Lorenzo Zanni.
IABM (www.theiabm.org) is the international trade association for suppliers of broadcast and media technology. IABM facilitates the important networking and interaction between suppliers that shape and define the unique ecosystem of the broadcast and media technology industry.

Abirah graduates this month with a First Class Honours in BSc International Business and Economics at Aston University, Birmingham, UK. While studying her degree, Abirah gained commercial experience through her placement year as a Customer Services Adviser, building a strong understanding of what excellent customer service is – and how to deliver it at E.ON, based in Nottingham. Abirah is also fluent in Arabic and Spanish languages.
Abirah will help IABM further grow its much-valued Business Intelligence portfolio, bringing IABM members more reports, market studies and insights to help them do even better business. Aziz will also contribute to IABM’s soon to be launched Knowledge Hub, creating a one-stop-shop for industry and technology information for members.
