Security - Cycle

Cycling is a great way to get around. It’s cheap. It’s healthy. It’s environmentally friendly.

We at Aston University want to encourage you to cycle but we also want you to be safe and secure when doing so.

The University runs AstBug (Aston University bicycle user group). Being a member is free, and affords many benefits, including subsidised ‘D’ Lock purchasing, which can be obtained from the Security Team once your membership is confirmed. This meaning a cost of only £10 for a ‘D’ lock.  http://www.aston.ac.uk/environment/ast-bug/

We also offer a free security bike marking facility through Bike Register.

Click https://www.bikeregister.com/advice/how-it-works for more information about this excellent scheme.

If you would like to make an appointment for this service please email either:
