MBA programme at Aston Business School among the top 100 in the world

The MBA programme at Aston Business School (ABS) in Birmingham has again been named one of the best in the world according to the Economist Which MBA Ranking 2011. In this latest ranking, ABS’s Full-time MBA has been placed at 77th in the world, 28th in Europe and 13th in the UK.

Aston Business School, part of Aston University, has performed particularly well for its careers service and support. ABS was ranked 1st in the UK for “Student assessment of career service” and 2nd in the UK for “Open new career opportunities”, ahead of other prestigious UK institutions such as Cranfield School of Management and CASS Business School.

Prof John Edwards, Executive Dean of Aston Business School, said: “This latest ranking is further proof of the high esteem in which Aston Business School’s MBA programme is held worldwide. We are delighted to consolidate our position in the World Top 100 and are particularly pleased to be top in the UK for our careers service. In a difficult economic climate and tough jobs market, our MBA students know that they are well placed and supported to compete for the top jobs worldwide.”

Last month Aston Business School was ranked 31st in the world and 5th in the UK by the Financial Times 2011 Masters in Management ranking.
