Aston Engineering students placed second In National Contest

A team of Aston Engineering students took part in the English heat of the annual European Business Management Challenge, only narrowly missing out on a chance to represent England in Stuttgart at the International finals.

The two day intensive business simulation event, which this year focused on an ecological theme of running an electric car company,  had over 250 individual participants from universities across Europe.

The team of second year students from Aston’s School of Engineering and Applied Science finished second overall, narrowly missing out on the finals in Germany. Although not leaving victorious then team consisting of; Christian Burton, Samera Hussain, Ravinder Judge, Hanna Moore, Steve Bradnocre and Ben Gardner are looking forward to competing next year.
