Disaster in Chile

Aston University would like to express our deepest sympathy to those affected by the earthquake that hit Chile on February 27th 2010. Our thoughts are with Aston Chilean students and members of staff in particular.

Aston University has a number of students in Chile at present, some of whom may have been affected by the earthquake.  We appreciate how distressing it must be being far from home at this time.  We are happy to advise that all our students are safe and well and that their families have been advised accordingly.

Aston staff and student counselling services, the Aston Student Advice Point (ASAP) and the University’s Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Services are available to assist anyone affected by the disaster.  We would encourage you to make use of these services if you require support.
