Aston University attempt World Record Badminton Attempt!

20th April, 2010

Aston University staff and students are attempting to break the current Guinness World Records Attempt™ for the ‘most participants in a badminton rally’.

The event is set to take place on Wednesday 28th April at the University’s Woodcock Sports Centre, running from 1pm. The public are invited to help smash the current record of 97 set in Singapore last year, with the University aiming for at least 150 people to take part in the rally.

Simon Foster, Sports, Marketing & Development Manager at Aston said, "This is a fanastic opportunity for Aston and we really want to get as many people involved as we can. This is also a great way to highlight the facilities we have available here at the University, both for students and the general public."
