Aston Professor of European Studies, Anne Stevens, was recently called upon for her expertise by Radio France (for the France Infos channel).
As a French speaking British Political Scientist, Anne was interviewed by Jacques Monin as part of a news report about the opening of the Labour Party conference and the position of Gordon Brown. The report was brief and has a comment from Anne stating that if the general public continues to think of the government as competent it would be in Gordon Brown’s interest to go for an early election and consolidate his position for the next four to five years.
The report was broadcast on Monday 27th October 2007.
Listen to the broadcast.
