White Rose - A Blooming Miracle

Aston University graduate, Robin Davis (1990 BSc Transport Management) is returning to the University on 16th February to give an alumni network lecture called 'White Rose - A Blooming Miracle'.

Each academic year the Alumni Relations Office at Aston University invites back three graduates who hold prestigious positions in well known companies to give a lecture to students, other alumni and the local community on their work.

Robin works as the Planning and Performance Manager for Great North Eastern Railways (GNER) and will be talking about the project management of the introduction of a new train line, White Rose (Eurostar). Anything and everything to do with such a task will be discussed, from satisfying the UK rail safety acceptance regime, teaching the drivers to speak French, and how to wash up on a train with no water.

The lecture will be held at 5.30pm in the Warwick Lecture Theatre in the main building of Aston University and will be followed by a buffet.

Entrance to the event is free and open to everyone. If you would like to attend, please contact Caroline Hidson on 0121 204 4543 or email c.l.hidson@aston.ac.uk
