Luan Greenwood Presents 'International Communications, Getting the Message Across'
LUAN Greenwood, Press Officer for Ondeo (formerly Lyonnaise des Eaux), the world's largest water company, will present a lecture on the importance and challenges of international communications, at Aston University on January 30th 2002.
She will discuss the challenges she faces in ensuring that her company's message is communicated and adapted appropriately to suit the target audience.
"Water is the source of life, yet 30 million children die every year of water-related diseases. Communication plays a key role in getting the right message across to stakeholders throughout the world public authorities, NGOs, financial institutions, private companies, local communities all of whom are increasingly working together to provide people with a basic right: access to water."
Previously Luan featured on BBC2's Learning Zone, in the 'Working With...' series, where she also discussed intercultural relationships.
The lecture starts at 5.30pm in the Warwick Lecture Theatre, followed by a buffet afterwards in the Leicester Room. Admission is free.
