Behind the scenes of Millennium Point

MILLENNIUM Point is the new face of Birmingham's Eastside development; a catalyst intended to encourage more and more visitors and businesses to the Eastside of Birmingham, attracted by its state-of-the-art resources and facilities for discovering and utilising technology. But what is the real thinking behind such an enormous project, and where exactly does Millennium Point figure in Birmingham's regeneration?

Aston University in Birmingham is pleased to welcome Aston graduate Martin Chambers, Director of Millennium Point, who will be returning to the University on 21st February to discuss the project in his lecture 'What's the point of being a catalyst?'

The event is the latest Network Lecture, a regular series of events organised by Aston's Alumni Relations Office in which successful graduates talk about their careers.

The Lecture starts at 5.30pm in the Warwick Theatre and is followed by an informal buffet supper. Entrance is free and open to the public. Tickets are available from Caroline Hidson on 0121 204 3000.
