Arriving at Birmingham International airport

Birmingham International Airport has flights within the UK and across Europe, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and North America.

It is easy to get from Birmingham International Airport to Aston University. A free shuttle service runs between Birmingham International airport and the Birmingham International train station. Several trains an hour run from Birmingham International train station directly to New Street Station and take less than 10 minutes.

Alternatively, the airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car or taxi.

In preparation for International Orientation week in September, the University runs a short Meet & Greet service from Birmingham International airport, for new international students arriving to study at Aston.

Arriving at other UK airports

Aston University’s central location in Birmingham means it is well connected by the coach and rail networks linking various parts of the UK.

For passengers arriving at London Heathrow airport, the simplest means of transport is a coach.
