Athena SWAN: Charter for Women in Science

CENEWLINKIn 2010 Aston University received a Bronze Award from the ‘Athena SWAN Charter’This has recently been extended and the University is currently pursuing a Silver Award in recognition of its support of female staff and students throughout the University.

The School of Engineering & Applied Science (EAS) holds a Silver departmental Award from Athena SWAN and is working to renew this.

The School of Life & Health Sciences holds a departmental Bronze Award and is pursuing a Silver Award.

The awards have been granted in recognition of Aston’s excellent practice in, and on-going commitment to, the advancement and promotion of the careers of female staff and students.
